Chapter 9-11
The boys would have never become killers if they would have never landed on the island because being there having to actually hunt for food and the feeling of power changed them. Now that they were hunters they saw the blood and found it fun to hunt. In the book they liked the feeling of power and hiding behind a mask. If they get back to society they will always have the feeling of a once held power and the mark of a killer wont leave them. They might not kill anyone else but deep down inside them they are still killers. There experince on the island will carry on with them for the rest of their lives. When they live back in their soceity they will slowly adapt to their old lifestlye. Seeing themselves in there old clothes and combed hair they will see how foolish they looked painted like savages. Having grown up around them will change alot. In a society they did not need to hunt because they could buy the meat. Their old innocence of kids did allow them to have to courage to kill a pig. They will probably be tempted at first to make their own rules. The mask played a big part in them becoming killers because they felt hidden behind it and they could do what they want. They were also proabaly using hunting as a method to get rid of there frustration of being away from home. Jack was a big reason they became killers becasue he was giving them bad advise. They will probably forget about most of it.
