Fantasy Island

For the past couple of days Mrs. Varner's class has been reading The Most Dangerous Game and watched an episode of Fantasy Island: The Pilot. This episode was very similar to The Most Dangerous Game for three reasons: Paul Henley was being hunted in a jungle just like Rainsford was, Paul Henley and Rainsford were both very talented hunters, and both of the stories took place in a jungle on an island. Three differences between The Most Dangerous Game and Fantasy Island is that Paul Henley wanted to be hunted while Rainsford did not, Fantasy Island was a place that all your fantasies came true with a price and Ship Trap Island was a place of great evil that was a hunting reserve for human's being the prey instead of the hunter, and Mr. Roarke had a little person as an assisstant while General Zaroff had a giant as an assisstant. There really wasn't anything confusing about the story if you have a logical mind and can understand things others cannot. The woman that wanted to see her own funeral to see who was loyal to her was the most confusing story in the episode because it looked as if the old lady got pushed off the cliff but really it was the girl that her husband had been cheating on.

  5. You did a good job of explaining your examples. You used good detail and made them clear. At the end the part about the other story lines didn't make a lot of sense.
