You aren't always born good

I do not think people are inherently good, or bad. I think some people can be born good and then later in life their enviornment can make them turn bad, or evil. Some people are born into terrible households where hurting and killing is normal, and they grow up to do great things one day.
One example of people changing is Martin Luther King Jr. He was born in a time where people of color were discriminated against and violence was a regular. When he grew up he rose above everything and was a non-violent person. If people were inherently good, or bad, then you would think he would grow up to fight the segregation with a lot of violence. He was able to change and be good.
Another good example is Oprah Winfrey. She was born into a very bad and poor family. She was molested as a child, but now she is a very successful woman. Since she was born into the bad household where she was done wrong to you would expect her to be bad. She is very good, she donates money to charity and is very nice. She even has her own TV network.
My last example is Shania Twain. Growing up her family was very poor, couldn't afford heat, and sometimes food. At the young age of eight she would go into bars and sing just to get an extra $20. This is a very good example because since she had nothing growing up you would imagine her to be bad. She is very successful and even started her own charity for underprivledged kids to get music lessons.

  1. I agree. It all depends on what kind of life you live and how you were raised.
