Are people good or evil??

I don't think that people are inherently good or inherently evil. People change and become either good or bad depending on their individual lives. Some people that start out as good because they are brought up in a good family setting can turn evil because people in their life expect them to be good and acheive high goals and sooner or later they will get upset due to the pressure that is put on they and they could act out in rages of evil. Some people that start out bad because they are brought up in a horrible home life can turn good because they want to prove their family wrong and acheive something that their family never could. In the book the boys all start out as good. When Jack is assigned as the head hunter and makes his mask he gets to caught up in hunting and no longer sees the wrong in it. That's why he doesn't feel remosre in of the killings of Simon and Piggy. Jack is blood thirsty and he wants to do nothing but kill people and things or anything that has a breath. In the book the boys do start out as good. The only boys that stay good through out the novel is Ralph and Piggy. They see that there is evil in the group and they want to change them and keep the others from truning evil but it is to late. Ralph and Piggy try to stop Jack from killing Piggy but he isn't strong enough. When there are people that are brought up in bad home lives grow up some try and become good but others give up trying and just take their anger out on everybody and turn evil. If someone is brought up in an abusive home and once they are grown up they try and make something of themselves and prove to others that they are better than their family. If someone is brought up in a very well off family and they have high standers their family soon the pressure will get to them and they cant take it anymore and then they act out in rages of anger and become evil.
