Inherently Good
People are not always born inherently good. Some people might, but most people are not. Even if they are born good they will not stay good. People change, and make mistakes. No one is truely and inherently born good and stays good. Like in the novel the Lord Of The Flies they came to the island mostly good, but they changed. None of them are innocent and purely good now. They are killers, they became blood thirsty. They killed the beast, then Simon, then Piggy. They are not inherently good. Also they also have no interest in being good anymore. They are savages. They boys are all wild and crazy. The boys might have been good before they came, but now they are not good. No one is truely good. People can be born into bad situations and change to be good, and they can be born into good situations and turn bad. No one will stay good forever, people make bad decisions. Much like Hilter, or Oprah. Hilter was born into a good family and a good situation and turned bad. While Oprah was born into a bad situation and turned good. They both made the decision to be what they wanted to become. No one will stay good. Being born good is one thing, but staying good forever is another. People tend to make bad decisions and do things without thinking of the consequences. We tend to do what we want when we want. Whether it is a good decision, or a bad one. People make mistakes and don't stay good forever.

ReplyDeleteI agree they may be born one way but change throught their lifetime. People change, good job!
ReplyDeleteGood. All of them really are savages and when it comes to having goodness in your heart then they don't. They all were good and now that they killed and murdered then all of that doesn't matter anymore.
