short story relate

The short story I can relate to most is the Scarlet Ibis because I always get into fights with my sister. One of the Fights was caused because she snitched on me. I got really mad because I didn't see a reason in her to snitch on me is not like she was 8 Years old. So then i Would make her look Bad so i Could get attention. Then she would try to do something like that and then we would get into an argument so if i did something bad then she would run and tell.

Relating to the Scarlet Ibis

I can relate best to the Scarlet Ibis because mybrother and I fight a lot. We fight over a lot of little things but I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to him. He was being mean so I hit him, then he stole my phone and wouldn't give it back. So I stole his and he told my mom and she made us give them back. Now he doesn't take my phone because he doesn't want to make me mad.
I fight with my brother all the time because he does not want to take me to school because he is almost 21 years old is annoying as can be. He works and goes to school and I understand him been tried if when he came home he went to bed and got some rest but he doesn't he stays up all night on the computer and watches tv. So the next day he is tried all day at work and school and he blames it on him taking me to school. If he would go to bed early he wouldn't be so tired the next day. I think that he needs to be more responsible and not go to bed so late.

The Scarlet Ibis

In The Scarlet Ibis, there is a good example of sibling rivalry. Part of that is how Doodle is pushed to be more like his brother. My little brother is almost 9 years younger, and trys to mimic my actions. It makes you have to watch what you do and say more carefully. Doodle's older brother convenced Doodle that he needed to do the things that he was doing. It was not for Doodle's gain and ended up hurting him. This shows that not all things gained from older siblings are positive.

"The Scarlet Ibis"

The story I would relate to the most would be "The Scarlet Ibis" because my middle sister and I have had our differences. We have always had our arguments when we were younger. She would always get mad at me for wanting everything that she had. I was small and didn't really know any better. The way this relates to the story is Brother and Doodle have never always hated each other just sort of grew tired and that was how my sister and I got after a years of being siblings.

The Interlopers

The Interlopers was a great short story that i relate to very much to. You Check Spellingask "how do you relate to this story"? The way i relate to this story is growing up my dad didnt't like this guy. He said never talk to him because he's crazy. So automatically i set in my head that i hate this guy and i have never even met him and i have no reason to hate him. But one day i saw him in a local store and i decided to go up to him and see if he really is crazy. It turns out hes a pretty cool guy and it turns out i could see myself hanging out with him. So if its ben passed down in your family to hate someone you need to meet them face to face to see who they really are and never judge a book by its cover.

Saki's The Interlopers relations

Mrs. Varner's 2nd Block Honor's English class read "The Interlopers" as part of the short story unit. If I had to relate to this short story it would have to be when me and my twin brother were toddlers and even growing into young adult's we've been using teamwork all throughout our lives. Whether it was school, work, or getting a cookie out of the cookie jar by getting on my twin's shoulder's. Teamwork gets people through the day. When Daniel and I were kids we worked together for everything!! We couldn't be seperated for five minutes because we were so close together. We even came up with our own language out of nowhere. We weren't very social as children and we didn't start speaking english until we were in the second grade. Now were 14 years old and we barely speak to eachother. Daniel's busy with sports and I'm stuck with music and theatre. I miss the good old days when we did all of the same things and liked all of the same hobbies. We still use teamwork though. We work together to clean, cook, and do laundry. As the wonderpets say,"Whats going to work......Teamwork"

Parson Vs. Parsons

The way I am related to "The Interlopers" is because there is this feud with my family the Parsones have been have this feud with the Parsons over who owns what. Before I was born my grandfather has been neighbors with the Parsons. The whole feud started over my grandma's garden the Parsons said that she was planting on there land and my Grandma was like ok the i'll move it. She told my grandpa and he said that it was his land so he told her not to move her garden. Long story short At the end they found out it was neither of there land it was Eddie Maye land so the feud was over nothing but still to this day my grandpa doesn't like the Parsons family which is funny cause my cousin married a Parsons.

Short Story Relate

The short story I can relate to most is the Scarlet Ibis because I always get into fights with my sister. One of the Fights was caused because she snitched on me. I got really mad because I didn't see a reason in her to snitch on me is not like she was 8 Years old

Karina's Story!(:

The story I most relate to is "The Scarlet Ibis." I relate to this story because of the sibling rivalry. My older sister has always been better than me, at pretty much everything. Of course, I always try to prove her and others wrong. Things always come out wrong, though. And in the end, I'm the one that isn't better and the one that is in trouble. One time we were fighting to see who was faster at putting up dishes. (Yes, we fight over the smallest and most dumb things ever.) Well, we were putting the dishes up and she pushed me so I wouldn't hurry. This got me really, really mad. So I sort of went off on her. I started swinging, punching, and kicking. She also did the same. Gave her at least four good hits and she only got one. I felt good, like I had actually beaten her in something. Literally. But, like always, my mom came in and saw that only I was hitting. She didn't see her and I got grounded. Had all of my electronics taken away for two weeks. It was pretty bad. After that time, my sister and I have never fought. Well, not as bad as that once.(:

The Interlopers

I think I relate to "The Interlopers" the most because I can hold grudges. I have a hard time letting go of things if someone does something to hurt me. I 'll hold a grudge for awhile until the person that hurt me gets hurt just as bad or worse than I did. One time me and my best friend got in a fight over something dumb and she brought up my past and said some very mean things about me. I went and said somethings about her but nothing as bad as what she said about me. I still have a little grudge towards her at times but now we are on speaking terms and can get along when we have to.

Relating to the Scarlet Ibis:

I relate to the Scarlet Ibis because I have sibling rivalry with my sister, Caroline. We fight a lot over little things but I love her. An example of our fighting would be how we fight over who gets to sit on the right side of the couch or who gets to choose what channel we watch on TV. Even though we fight all the time we love each other. We just don't always show it.

"The Scarlet Ibis"

Out of all the short stories we've read the one I can relate the most to is "The Scarlet Ibis." I can relate to this story because it's all about sibling rivalry. I have a younger sister and an older brother; we are always going up against eachother. Each one of us always wants to be the best. We are always giving eachother a hard time or playing tricks on one another. My sister and I decided it would be a funny idea to give him a make over in his sleep. He thought other wise. He put shaving cream all over us one night while we were sleeping. Much like "The Scarlet Ibis" when Brother tries and plays tricks on Doodle to get attention.

short story theme

The short story I relate to the most is "The Scarlet Ibis". I relate to this story the most because I had a neighbor that was challenged and he would never be normal. He had a care taker that tried to teach him how to walk and run right. The kid could not do it, everywhere he went he had to crawl just like Doodle. The kid eventually died because of his condition. He was much like doodle because of the way he would never be normal if he would have lived and he would have been made fun of constantly.

Scarlet Ibis

The short story Scalrt Ibis is a sory that realtes a lot to me. i hve some troubles with my sister and somtimes we gat into big arrguments and we have trouble getting along. When ever I go out with my friends I had to carry my sister along. Somtimes i needed som ALONE TIME and they were always there. I would tell her to go of somwhere becasue I didnt like her then she would hit me and we would get in a fight. Even though me and her dont get along that well we still stick together. :)

Sibling Rivalry - "The Scarlet Ibis"

Out of all the short stories we have read the one I can relate to most is "The Scarlet Ibis." I can relate to this most because of sibling rivalry. My brother is only 22 months older than me so we have always argued over everything. We have gone back and forth playing tricks on each other for attention all of our lives. For example, when I was about 3 or 4 years old I was sitting in a little recliner watching the television and he came up behind me and cut off one of my pig tails. This relates to how brother would be mean and play tricks on Doodle to get attention since Doodle got all of the attention.

"The Scarlet Ibis"

I relate the most to the short story "The Scarlet Ibis." I have a little sister that I argue with and that I pick on. I sometimes do things for my sister because I'm ashamed of her at certain times. My sister is the "different" one out of the family. She's not exactly like Doodle, but they are alike in some ways.

The Scarlet Ibis

I relate to the short story, "The Scarlet Ibis" the most because, the theme was sibling rivalries/relationships. In the story, it was Brother had a younger sibling named Doodle. Doodle was born different and Brother has to take care of him all the time and make sure he was okay. Sometimes Doodle got on Brother's nerves and just wanted him to go away and do thing son his own. Their relationship reminds me of my brother and I. Since my brother is the oldest he's always having to watch over me, but at the same time I annoy him so much, or so he says, that he ignores me or he tells me to go to a friend's house just to get away from him.

"The Most Dangerous Game" and how I relate to it.

I relate to "The Most Dangerous Game" because sometimes I feel like I have to fight to get what I want. Rainsford wanted off of the island. Sometimes I feel like I have to run and work to get what I really want in life. Just like Rainsford, I too work hard to get away from the people that could hurt me, and I work hard to achieve goals and get to where I am supposed to be.

Life like the Interlopers

I relate the most to "The Interlopers" because for a lot of my life I had a constant sibling rivalry. For many years me and my sister would fuss about all kinds of stuff. If one of us got the cereal box prize the other would yell and scream cause the other thought they deserved it. She thought that I was spoiled and I thought that she was spoiled. We would get in fights all the time because we were stub urn and hard headed. We had a mini war going on for about two years. Finally though we got over it and became good friends just like in "the Interlopers". The only difference is that we didn't end up being eaten by wolves.

my relation to this story? (:

I would probably relate to 'The Most Dangerous Game' because that story is about fighting, and survival. I had to survive my life so far, and i'm doing great. i feel like i have to take care of myself. no one to help me but my best friends, but that's okay. i'm doing just fine. i liked that story because i felt like it was a meanful story, like it meant a lot. A great Story. (:

Sandra's Post

I mostly relate to The Intrelopers, not because of like family rivalry but because of sport rivalry. My family has a soccer team and we play againts a lot of other teams. Most of those other teams don't like us because we have gotten a lot better and because we are very loved by a lot of people. Since they don't like us we are always fighting over who is going to win and stuff like that. When our teams play they both try as hard as they can just to prove the other wrong. Its not like bad rivalry but more like fun rivalry because in the field they play and we argue but when the game is over its like nothing ever happened. Its a healthy way to express our feeling, or well atleast i think it is.

MoViE

If I could be in charge of creating a new movie for the "Most Dangerous Game" I would keep it the same plot. I would cast Adam Sandler as Ranisford and General Zaroff as Will Smith. The filming part would take place in Colombia were the the cave is made of salt and very dark. I wouldn't add any actors because i think it would be better with just them two. I would keep the same title because that way it is it sounds interesting. On the movie poster the background would be the jungle with pine trees and the ocean with huge waves too. Then i would have Adam running into the ocean away From Jackie. For the music i would have some crazy freestyle rap from Lil Wayne.

The new "Dangerous Game"

If I were to create a new younger version of "Fantasy Island" I would make it totally different and better. First of all the movie would take place in North Africa at the Nile River. Rainsford would be played as Will Ferrel. General Zaroff would be played as Vince Vaughn. Vince Vaughns assistant would be Mini Me off of "Austin Powers". I would try to incorperate more comedy into the movie to make it more entertaining so it want be so boring. Also in this I would try to incorperate Kim Kardashian some how. This movie will be a beast movie.

The Most Dangerous Game

If I created a new movie based on "The Most Dangerous Game" I would try to stick to the story as close as I possibly could with adding a little twist in the end of it. I would make it that whenever someone killed the guy that was hunting him would in the end have to take his place as the human hunter. This is how it would work; say that you win the hunt and kill the hunter you would go mad and see the thrill in seeing a human die in your hands and you would take the Island into your control and continue what they had protested against so long before. I would cast Rambo to play the role of Sanger Rainsford because you got to have some sort of bulky muscular male actor who has experience being hunted down before. I would cast Frank Langella from "THE BOX" to play General Zaroff because he really was something of great evil in the movie and I think that he would fit this character very well. I would cast Patrick Star from Spongebob to play the role of Ivan because Ivan and Patrick have something wrong in the sky if you know what I mean. He would be a very well Ivan. I would feature Rambo walking through the jungle with two men and a pack of wild dogs right behind him on the movie poster. I would invite people to pay 150, 000 buckaroos to live out a fantasy but really they are going to be hunted and we would cover it up by saying that they got bit by a snake or cliff diving went real bad. I would play really fast and exciting music for the soundtrack. I would change the name Fantasy Island with a twist.

"The Most Dangerous Game" Movie

If I were in charge of transforming "The Most Dangerous Game" into a hit new movie there are a few things I would change. I would change a few of the characters names. For instance I would change Sanger Rainsford to Clayton Jones, and his character would be played by Brad Pitt. I would let General Zaroff keep his name, because the name sounds rough and mean. His character would be played by Clint Eastwood. I would also add a leading lady into the film that Clayton would be fighting for, if he wins the hunt he wins her back. Her name in the film would be Lily Wood, and she would be played by Angelina Jolie. General Zaroff would have a big strong sidekick, Ivan, and he would be played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I would keep the title "The Most Dangerous Game" because it seems very interesting and thrilling. On the movie poster I would feature the main character out in the middle of the wilderness during the prime of his hunt. I would do this because it shows how the movie is ful of action. I would use some thrilling music in certain places throught the movie, but I wouldnt use it too much because I think it gives too much clue of what is going to happen. My movie would take place in the Bermuda Trianlge, because most people relate this to disappearances. The remote island where the movie is filmed is where all the ships are disappear to and live out the terror of being hunted. My movie would be very thrilling and I think I would keep most of the story line the same with the exception of the leading lady to give it romance and a reason for him to keep hunting.

SB SERIES!

I wouldn's want to make a movie, probably i would make like a little series. Then I would probably cast some of the best actors. The epiosodes would be filmed somewhere in Africa or in some part of the Amazon rainforest. I think that i would probably add a lot of new characters to make the show that much more interesting and exciting. I would also make the story be with a lot more people being hunted. Maybe in some parts I would add a couple of girl characters. The title is good as it is so it would stay the same. There would be several posters to promote it. In some there would be like pictures of the setting and in others there would be characters. In the soundtrack i would add like all INTENSE songs. They would all relate to specific parts of the series. From Fantasy Island I would keep the hotel type of thing, so that the people being hunted could also rest a little bit between hunts!

THE NEW GAME!!!

I f i were to make a movie about the short story " The Most Dangerouse Game" it would be located in Brazil near the Amazon River. There would be a WHOLE new cast and the leading ladies would be Lady Gaga and Eva Langoria. Lady Gaga's name would be Demitra and Eva Langoria would be Rosario de La Cruz. Mandrogof (Rainsford) would be RAMBO since he is tough and lives for action. Martin Lawrence would be General Resistente. Demitra was the wife of General Resistente but he killed her but she faked her daeith and is still alive and now has Rosario de La Cruz for his new wife. Everything that happens in the short story would happen in the movie exept that General Resistente will not only kill Mandrogof he will also kill Rosario de La Cruz becasuse she cheated on him. I would put romantic and then suspence music. The sidekick for General Resistenete would be Pitbull. He will help General Resistente kill Mandrogof and Rosario de La Cruz. At the end Rosario de La Cruz and Mandrogof will escape and live happy and Pitbull will kill General Resistente. The name of the movie would be the NEW GAME becasue General Resistente would be killing poeple not animals and he made up this game just like in the "Dangerouse Game." And at the end Pitbull becomes the NEW HUNTER and brings a new lady to the movie Matadora (Jessica Alba) and then you have to wait for the second movie

Movie

If I could be in charge of creating a new movie based on "The Most Dangerous Game" I would keep the same plot. Rainsford would be played by Roger Moore and General Zaroff would be played by Bruce Wilis. I would create a leading lady that Zaroff chains to Rainsford somewhat like in Fantasy Island. She would be played by Jessica Alba. I would re-write the title of the movie to "Paradise within an Island." On the movie poster there would be plenty of action in the background with the 3 leading characters. There would be all kinds of music suspensful music for the action scenes and light music for the romantic scenes. The movie would take place in costa rica.

Movie Idea

My movie would be in a jungle like a really creepy one like the amazon Rainsford would be played by the guy from transporter the one with the accent his name would be different more interesting then Rainsford he would have a leading lady like Megan Fox. The General would be played by the guy from Arnold schwarzenegger the side kick would be somebody like Jet Li or a midget with and accent like in Fantasy Island because I think that's funny. In the end Rainsford would blow up the mainson with the general inside but his sidekick would survive. The movie would be called the Hunt not the most dangerous game

The Most Dangerous Game The Movie

If they were to make The Most Dangerous Game into a movie, here is what i would imagine it to be like.
Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Carribean) would be my leading choice to play Sanger Rainsford, Woody Harrelson (Zombieland) would be my pick for General Zaaroff, and I would choose Josh Herdman (Harry Potter) for Ivan. Depp's ability to portray characters with weird situations would fit well for that character. Harrelson would be able to get the crazy, phycopathic mindset of Gerenal Zaroff nicely. Herdman would be a very good wingman for the General. The setting would be in Bermuda.
I would not change the title for the movie, nor would I add any characters. It would take away from the integrity of the story. I would show the charaters on the poster. The music would include very intense and dramatic instrumental pieces.

"The Most Dangerous Game"

If I could direct a movie based on "The Most Dangerous Game", I would probably cast Al Pacino as Rainsford. I'd get Johnny Depp as General Zaroff and have Chuy, from Chelsea Lately, as the sidekick. The plot of the movie would be the same as the book, I wouldn't change much about it. Hm, I would probably film it in Madagascar. It's an island and it's really nice. I don't think that a movie needs to have a leading lady, so I would not cast anyone for that roll. The title of my movie would still be The Most Dangerous Game. On the movie poster, I would have a picture of Johnny Depp with a gun and Al Pacino sorta in the woods. Music in the soundtrack would be more of heavy or something. I wouldn't do it like Fantasy Island because I didn't really like the layout of the movie. It was somewhat confusing with all the other stories. So, I would just leave Rainsford story.(:

The Most Dangerous Game

If I could remake the movie "The Most Dangerous Game" I would try to stick to the story but have more twist and turns than the story did.
I would set the movie on the island of Fiji where it has beautiful waters and lots of tropical forest which will be good for , the hunter to hide it during the hunting phases.
I would cast Jenifer Lopez as the leading lady Jenny. I would cast Jackie Chan as the guest Jackie Chan. I would also cast Adam Sandler as the hunter General Zaroff. I would cast Rick Ross as the sidekick Big Rick.
I would use different romantic songs during the romantic scenes and I would use the theme song from jaws when something dangerous was going to happen.
I would the title the same because I think it would make the movie more interesting.

New Movie: The Most Dangerous Game

If I was making a movie on "The Most Dangerous Game" I would change many things like the cast and where it was filmed. But I would keep the title the same.
I would change my cast, I would have Will Smith playing as Sanger Rainsford. I would have Harrison Ford play the role of General Zaroff because Harrison Ford is in action movies. And for Tattoo I wo'uld have Adam Sandler, because he is funny. And for Ivan I would have Mel Gibson.
I would film the movie in Bahamas because it's really sunny and the water is really pretty. And I would have the music from Jaws in it when sanger Rainford was running away from General Zaroff.

Watch out

Cast
Rainsford=Russell Brand
Zaroff=Zack Galifianakis
Leading lady=Jennifer Aniston
Henchman=Steve Carrel

Setting:Island off of Africa.

Watch Out would be a comedy with a little bit of action. It will be about a man named (don't know yet) getting trapped on an island and being hunted by a maniac. It will be filled with hilarious scenes and different moments where the unthinkable happens. Steve Carrel will be the maniacs henchman and will always seem to get in the way and create humerus situations.

Movie Premiere

If I were to create a movie based on "The Most Dangerous Game" it would be very action packed and humorous. The scenes would have a suspenseful mood, that will keep everyone on the edge of their seat!
The Amazon Rainforest with its various types of life forms and remarkable yet skeptical scenery would be the perfect place to film as Ship-Trap Island from the story. The characters would still have the same name, and also the name of the movie would stay the same from the story. As for the characters, I will have; Will Smith as Sanger Rainsford, Steve Carrell as General Zaroff, and Adam Sandler as Ivan.
On the movie poster it will have a picture of the characters and the Rainforest. Rainsford will be in the front with an guarded/alert look, General Zaroff will be deep in the back, hiding behind the bushy and very leafy trees with an evil look that stares down at Rainsford, and Ivan won't be in it. These characters will have trees and different plant life all surrounding them. The area will look very wet and muddy. Basically everything nature has to offer.

The Most Dangerous Game movie

If i were to make a movie based on The Most Dangerous Game I would change the movie title to The Hardest Game Ever. I would make Clint Eastwood play as Sanger Rainsford. Then i would make Terry Crews play as General Zaroff because he is really strong and can hunt good. I would make Jet Li play the role of Ivan. The leading lady would be Brooklyn Decker her name would be Jessica in the movie. She would come into the movie by getting captured by the general (Terry Crews) and then Rainsford (Clint Eastwood) would have to win the hunt to get her back. I would also change the setting to take place in the middle of the deep jungles in South America. On the movie poster for advertising I would put all four actores standing there in the jungle that the hunt was taking place in. I would only use music in this movie during the hunt to make it more appealing to the audience. The song i would use is Thriller by Micheal Jackson because it will be a thrilling movie and thats a thrilling song.

"The Most Dangerous Game"

If I could create a movie based on "The Most Dangerous Game" I wouldn't change the name because it's fits perfectly. The title is important because it describes what's going to happen in the movie. For Rainsford's character I would cast Kellan Lutz, John Travolta for General Zaroff's character, and Channing Tatum for Ivan's character. To keep the movie interesting I would cast a love interest for Rainsford and she would be played by Lucy Hale. The movie would take place in the Amazon. On the movie poster there would be a picture of Kellan Lutz with a weapon up in a tree or something like that. The music would be a variety. Whatever kind that goes along with the scenes. Time in between shots would be given to Rainsford, but that would be the only similarity to Fantasy Island.

The NEW Most Dangerous Game!

If I could be in charge of making a new movie based on "The Most Dangerous Game" I would change many things, like the characters, setting and events.
First off my cast, I would have Will Smith as Sanger Rainsford, because he is great at action movies and this is definitely an action movie. As General Zaroff have Johnny Depp as General Zaroff becasue Zaroff is verry creepy and Depp is very good at playing that role, any role really. For Ivan, the tall odd servant, I would have Tom Cruise, just because. I would have the movie filmed in Austraila, just to change it up. I would keep the title the same because it is a good hook and it makes you wonder. The movie would have very susepnseful music to keep the movie watcher interested. Enjoy! (:

'The Most Dangerous Game' ; My Version. (:

Well, my version of 'The Most Dangerous Game' would be amazingly awesome. I would cast Bill Gates as Rainsford ; Bruno Mars as General Zaroff ; Lindsey Lohan as the 'sidekick' ; Dakota Fanning as the leading lady with Lil Wayne. The theme song will be 'Not Afraid' by Eminem. It would be filmed in a little island in Hawaii, where no one can find it. I would keep the title, 'The Most Dangerous Game', because it's awesomee. The movie poster will be Dakota Fanning in the arms of Lil Wayne, while in the background they have Bill Gates and Lindsey Lohan trying to escape the evil tricks and games of Bruno Mars. My movie would be nothing like Fantasy Island. :)

The Dangerous Game (Remix)

In my movie it would take place in Puerto Rico. Really deep in the jungle with all the animals and deeps forests. I would use Drake and Sanger Rainsford and Lil Wayne as General Zaroff. Ivan would be Gucci Mane. No, I don't think I would put a leading lady because it's going to distract and just take away from the story if you do put one in. I wouldn't keep the The Most Dangerous Game. I would change it and call it The Dangerous Rap.
Some things I would put on the poster would be like all of the rappers in the forest just standing there. The music I would use is the rap that they make in the movie. The actual game would just be them rapping for their lives. I think in some ways my movie would be really cool because it's just a bunch of rappers that we like and it would just be really entertaining to see them all together in a movie.

The Most Dangerous Game

If I were in charge of making a movie based on "The Most Dangerous Game" I would change a few things. I would first change the characters names. I would give the leading male character a stronger name. I would give him the name Oscar Rainsford. The main man would be played by, Brad Pitt. I would also cast a leading lady, Megan Fox. Her character would be named Sophia Hall. General Zaroff, played by Sylvester Stallone, would keep the from the book. He would also have an assistant, Ivan, played by Sean Penn.
On the movie poster I would feature the leading male and female in the jungle. They will be holding weapons and looking as if they were getting ready to fight General Zaroff. This movie would feature suspenseful music, that really gets you into the movie. The movie would be located somewhere in the Seychelles on the coast of Africa.
This is similar to Fantasy Island because Genera Zaroff will hunt Oscar, like Mr. Roarke had men hunt Paul Henley.

"The Most Dangerous Game" My Version.

If I was filming "The Most Dangerous Game" I would cast Will Smith as Rainsford, and Jim Carry as General Zaroff, Jim Carry can add comedy to anything. The movie would be filmed on the islands of Hawaii. The leading lady, being withWill Smith, would be Jennifer Lopez. On the movie poster I would show Will Smith holding Jennifer Lopez in his arms with a hunter pointing a gun at them in the background. The theme music would be "Not Afraid" by Eminem. I would make sure the acting was much better then in Fantasy Island. :)

MOVIE-SHORT STORY

In the movie and the short story there are several similarities and differences. Some of the similarities is how the setting is both on an island. Another one is that someone is being hunted for there life. Last is that there are both mansions on the island.
Some of the differences is that in the short story General Zaroff kills anyone that comes to the island and in the movie people go to live there fantasy. Another is that in the short story they kill animals. Last is that Ranisford didn't want to be haunted and in the movie Paul did.
I did not have any questions on the show Fantasy Island i was not confused about anything with the hunter Paul Henley. The three similarities between The Most Dangerous Game and Fantasy Island are that both of the characters were been hunted. they also had to escape skilled hunter with only a hunting knife, there were also phases in both the hunts. The differences are that in Fantasy island there was a girl involved he also wanted to be hunted in Fantasy Island. In Fantasy Island between the phase Paul was been feed and had time to rest very comfortably.

island questions

Three similarities are they were both hunters, both men, both being hunted
Three differences are one was wanting to be hunted, one had a partner, one was being hunted by differnt hunters.

Fantasy Island

In the movie Fantasy Island there were a lot of things that were similar to the short story "Dangerouse Game" for example, there was a hunter and the hunted but the hunted was a human not an animal like in the short story. another thing that was the similar to the story was that the owner of the island has a side kick to be with them, but thats not all in another thing that would be similar in the story and the movie would be that the hunting took place in an island. Not everything was simmilar there were a lot of things that were different. An example would be that in the movie the owner of the island was no the one hunting he hired a hunter to shoot. Somthing else would be that the hunted in the movie had 20 minutes to get 200 yards and once the hunted got to the red flag the hunter could not shoot and in the story if the hunter saw the prey he could shoot. Another thing that is different is the side kick in the movie the side kick was little and looked weak and in the story he was big and buff.

The Most Dangerous Game vs. Fantasy Island

I have no quetions about Paul Henley, or Fantasy Island. I understand what was going on, and why it was happening.
Paul Henley was one of the three guest on Fantasy Island. His fantasy was to be hunted. This is different from Rainsford in The Most Dangerous Game, for he was being hunted against his will. Rainsford was being hunted by a single person, while three were after Henley. Henley had time to rest and relax, while Rainsford had no time to relax. Neither one of them end up deceased. Both of their hosts are strange, with henchmen by their sides.

Similarities and Differences

Some similarities between "The Most Dangerous Game" and Fantasy Island include someone being hunted, the person who was being hunted winning, and an island which is where everything takes place. Some differences are in Fantasy Island the owner of the island didn't do the actual hunting like Zaroff did in the story, the person that was being hunted in the movie wanted to be hunted and in "The Most Dangerous Game" the person who was being hunted didn't want to be hunted, and the last difference was that in the story Zaroff didn't give Rainsford time to get to a certain place before he started shooting.

Hunter movie

The movie was really good but I am still a little confused about why Paul Henly wanted to get himself killed. I also dont get why he was chained to that women. In "The Dangerous Game"
the island was owned by a hunter. In Fantasy Island it was owned by a rich man. In"The Dangerous Game" Zaroff hunted Rainsford himself. In Fantasy Island he was hunted by three different people. In "The Dagerous Game" Zaroff had only one employe and in Fantasy Island he had many employees. In each it was a three day hunt. In both the hunt was on an island. In each story/movie the guy who was being hunted was a past hunter himself.

Fantasy Island

For the past couple of days Mrs. Varner's class has been reading The Most Dangerous Game and watched an episode of Fantasy Island: The Pilot. This episode was very similar to The Most Dangerous Game for three reasons: Paul Henley was being hunted in a jungle just like Rainsford was, Paul Henley and Rainsford were both very talented hunters, and both of the stories took place in a jungle on an island. Three differences between The Most Dangerous Game and Fantasy Island is that Paul Henley wanted to be hunted while Rainsford did not, Fantasy Island was a place that all your fantasies came true with a price and Ship Trap Island was a place of great evil that was a hunting reserve for human's being the prey instead of the hunter, and Mr. Roarke had a little person as an assisstant while General Zaroff had a giant as an assisstant. There really wasn't anything confusing about the story if you have a logical mind and can understand things others cannot. The woman that wanted to see her own funeral to see who was loyal to her was the most confusing story in the episode because it looked as if the old lady got pushed off the cliff but really it was the girl that her husband had been cheating on.

Fantasy Island vs. The Most Dangerous Game

In the TV series Fantasy Island Paul Henley comes to visit and live out his fantasy of being hunted. The people hunting him had been hurt by him in some way in his life. Paul doesn't remember what he did to any of them though. The story line of Paul Henley's hunt was a little bit confusing at times, because there were 2 other stories happening all in the same episode. You had to really contentrate and remember what has happened before they switched stories.

Fantasy Island and "The Most Dangerous Game" are alike in many ways. One way they were alike was that in both cases humans were hunting other humans. In the show Paul was being hunted by various people and in the story Rainsford was being hunted by General Zaroff. Another similarity is that both Rainsord and Paul enjoyed to hunt, and they did it alot. Another way the stories are the same is that Paul and Rainsford, the hunted, both ended up "winning" the game. Neither of them got killed and were set free.

Fantasy Island and "The Most Dangerous Game" are also different in many ways. One key difference between them is that Paul wanted to be hunted, but Rainsford did not. Paul had the choice to say yes or no, but Rainsford had to either be hunted get beaten. Another difference between the story lines is that Paul was accompanied by someone on the first phase of his hunt, but Rainsford was all alone the entire time. Another big difference is that Paul's hunt was broken up into 3 phases, and there were certain limitations. In Rainsford's hunt there were no rules and it continued on at all times, even during the night.

"The Most Dangerous Game" and "Fantasy Island"

After watching the movie "Fantasy Island", I didn't have any questions. I understood all of the stories. The story about Paul Henley was pretty easy to understand.
Three similarities that I found were that, both in the book and the movie, the story takes place on a deserted island. Both characters are professional hunters and have a lot of background in what they were doing. Another similarity is that in both stories, humans were hunted rather than animals.
There were also a lot of differences, in the book, Rainsford was alone and in the movie, there was a lady with him. Another difference is that in the book, Rainsford didn't want to be haunted, but in the movie he wanted to be hunted and killed. Also, in the book there was only one hunter, General Zaroff. In the movie, there were three hunters. The hunters had "reasons" why they wanted to kill Paul Henley.

Fantasy Island/The Most Dangerous Game

The movie we watched the Fantasy Island was very good but also very confusing at the
same time because of the other two story lines. I think to make it less confusing the writers
should have spent the same amount of time one each but instead of going back and forth should
have just shown most of the story at the same time and then when the end of the story happens
come back to it. Another thing that I wonder about was why did Paul Henley want to be hunted,
I understood that he was big on hunting but I don't get why that would want someone to get
hunted like an animal. Other than those few things I understood the storyline quite well.
The movie Fantasy Island and the book "The Most Dangerous Game" had similarities and
differences. Some similarities are Paul Henley and Rainsford are both on an island but a
differnce about the islands are one is more joyful and the other one has more of a creepy feeling.
Paul and Rainsford are both hunters but Paul is on the island because he wants to be hunted
while Rainsford is on an island where he doesn't want to be hunted. Both islands have hosts, Mr.
Roarke (Fantasy Island) and General Zaroff ("The Most Dangerous Game"), but Mr. Roarke is
not cannibal while General Zaroff is a cannibal.

Fantasy Island/ "The most dangerous game"

The movie that we watched, Fantasy Island, it was really good but it got kind of confusing since there was three story lines and we only had to focus on one. I understand it better now since we went over it. But I don't think they spent enough time on the Paul Henley's story. They spent a lot more time on the other two story lines and it was hard to keep focus on just that one story. Fantasy Island Paul Henley wanted to me hunted unlike the other guy in "The Most Dangerous Game." In Fantasy Island they paid to go to that island, but in "The Most Dangerous Game" he fell off of his boat. Fantasy Island doesn't seem as creepy as the other island did. They are also different because the hunter in "The Most Dangerous Game" wanted to hunt him beause he was tired of just hunting animals, he wanted a harder catch. They are alike because they both of the people getting hunted were men. They are both on take place on an island. They're both taken place in a jungle.

similarities and differences

In this movie, Fantasy Island, the one thing that confuses me is that why would Paul Henley want to be hunted. Even though he lived, he still could have been killed many times. One other thing that confuses me if that Mr. Roarke wants him to be hunted and killed why did he save his life at the end of the last hunt.
One difference in The Most Dangerous Game is that Rainsford did not want to be hunted and Paul Henley did. One other difference is that Rainsford killed General Zaroff. In the story the main hunter saved the hunted. The last difference is that Paul only had to get to a red flag which was a certain distance away and rainsford had to survive for three days. A similarity between the two story lines is that both times the people that were being hunted won the hunt. Another similarity is that they were both hunters being hunted. The last similarity is that neither of them had a hunting weapon beside a knife.

The Most Dangerous Game

In the movie Fantasy Island it kept switching to different scenes. I didn't like how it was plotted, because it was confusing to keep up with. I still don't really get the movie in general.
Some similarities from the movie and the story, "The Most Dangerous Game" is that someone is hunted/hunting, it's on an somewhat unknown island, because Rainsford was kind of unfamiliar with Ship-Trap Island and the people in the movie kept asking about where and what is the island was. Also, in both the movie and the story there was someone who lived there/owned the island. In the movie it was Mr. Roarke and in the story it was General Zaroff.
Not only there were similarities there were some differences such as, in Fantasy Island there were more people on the island, but in "The Most Dangerous Game" it was basically just Rainsford. Also, in the movie people arrived in planes and Rainsford fell overboard and in the movie Paul Henley wanted to be hunted, while Rainsford did not.

Fantasy Island

The movie Fantasy Island was a very amusing and entertaining movie. The movie was kinda hard to understand because it jumped form character to character and never focused on one character. The book "The Most Danderous Game" and the movie Fantasy Island shared many similarities. A few differences was that in the book Rainsford didn't want to be hunted but in the movie Paul Henley went to the island to be hunted. Another difference was that in the story the mood was alot more serious and spooky than in the movie. The last difference is that in the movie people wanted to go to the island but in the story people went to the island by being misled by the lights or the tide. Some similarities in the movie are that the movie and the story had mind games being played on the characters. Rainsford who is essentially Mr. Roarke in the movie, in both instances each characters mood changed throughout the story. The last similarity is that in both stories a human vs human conflict was Paul Henley vs Mr. Roarke which is the same as Rainsford vs General Zarott

Fastany Island ; 'The Most Dangerous Game'

The movie, Fantasy Island was like 'The Most Dangerous Game' a lot, but then again it was much different. I find that this movie was very confusing. I didn't really understand it, but what I did understand of the story that it was about 'revenge' or 'life or death.' Mr. Roarke just wanted to see some action or some entertainment.

The two stories were different in many ways, but they were also alike in many ways. In 'The Most Dangerous Game' the hunter wanted revenge, and the guy that he was hunting, didn't want to die, but the guy in Fantasy Island, wanted to die, in my opinion. Also they both were hunted for stuff that they did in the past, and the differentences were the time period, locations, and why they were hunted. Both stories were hard to understand and entertaining. (:
I understood everything about the story and the movie. They are both really good and they are also very similar and different. One of the similarities is that both stories were in an island. They both had to fight to survive. In both stories there were humans being hunted and ironicallyt they were both hunters themselves. The three main things that are different in the movie and the story is that in the story General Zaroff would trick people into the island and in the movie poeple would just go. Another difference is that in the story Rainsford didnt want to get hunted and in the movie Paul didnt mind. The third thing that I noticed was different is that in the story there was no girl on the island with Rainsford and in the movie there was a girl with Paul.

Fantasy Island Prompt

Why did they have three story lines in one episode instead of just having three separate ones? I'm confused about how Paul Henley got back from the desert where he had made it through the last phase of the hunting game back to where he arrived off of the airplane.

In "The Most Dangerous Game" Rainsford did not want to be hunted. General Zaroff did not own the island and had a large sidekick Ivan. Rainsford stumbled upon General Zaroff's house. On the episode of Fantasy Island Paul Henley wanted to be hunted. Mr. Roarke own the island and had a small sidekick Tattoo. Paul Henley wanted to go to the island to live out his fantasy.

In "The Most Dangerous Game" both the men were on an island. Both of the men got hunted. Both of the men were very skilled hunters.

The Most Dangerous Game/Fantasy Island

Paul Henley, the hunter, from Fantasy Island lived out his fantasy of being hunted. His fantasy was not very confusing and I understood everything for the most part. He was hunted by people he had "done wrong." Although he never really did them wrong.
"The Most Dangerous Game" and Fantasy Island were alike in many ways. In both stories two men were being hunted. One by choice, Paul Henley, from Fantasy Island and one was forced to hunt, Rainsford from "The Most Dangerous Game." Also in both stories the men, Paul and Rainsford, emerge victorious. They both over come the challenges they faced while being hunted and ended up winning. Another way they are similar is that both characters were into hunting before they were hunted. They were both good at what they do, and enjoyed it very much. Although these two are similar in many ways they also had their differences for one Paul was being hunted by people he had come in contact or hurt prior to the hunt. Rainsford had never met General Zaroff, ever. Also Rainsford was only hunted by one man, instead of a series of different people like Paul Henley was. Unlike Paul, Rainsford did not have to go through more than one round or hunter to finish his challenge. Another difference between the two stories is that Paul wanted to be hunted, it was his fantasy. Rainsford did not. He accidentally landed on Ship Wreck Island, and did not want to be hunted.

"The Most Dangerous Game"

Most of the story was confusing, and hard to understand or follow along. The story made since at the end, but the begining was confusing and was extremely slow. The actual storyline about the hunter was dragged out too long.

Some differences in Fantasy Island and "The Most Dangerous Game" are for example the man being hunted was accompanied by a girl in the first hunt. Secondly Mr. Roarke had a sidekick named Tattoo, there was no Tattoo character in "The Most Dangerous Game". Thirdly there were three parts to the hunt, in the movie, there were no breaks or flags involved to break up the hunt.

Some similarities were the man being hunted had two options at the begining of the story/ movie. The options in both were different, but he still had a choice. Secondly the man being hunted in both story lines got to stay in a nice room the night before the hunt. Thirdly the man being hunted was almost caught in both story lines.

One of the latest movies I've seen is a movie called 9 Dead. This movie is really confusing but the antagonist would have to be Kelly. Although she seems like one of the victims she isn't. She is one of the crulest, sickest persons there. What most facinates me about her is that she seems so nice on the outside. so perfect, like she would never do certain thing which is why nobody suspects of her. But in reality I hate her!

Twilight.(:

In the book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, the villian would have to be James. James is one of the vampires that feeds off of human blood. In the story he tried to kill Bella, Edward's lover. This character fascinates me because, beside the fact that he's a vampire, he is really determined. The book says that "hunting" is his specialty and it is. He will not give up on anything he sets his mind to.

Villan vs. hero

In the movie Cinderalla the villain is the evil step-sisters because they were always mean to her and they made her clean everything. Then Cinderalla meet the fairy god mother. She went to the ball and meet the prince.

the decsent 2

in the decent there is a group of girls that want to go explore a cave and it turn out there are some king of weird creatures down there that eat anything they find but they are blind so they can the only way that its get attention is by noise so the girls cant find the way out so they all die they get eaten. what fascinates me the way they move and talk hahaha

Step Brothers.

One of my favorite villains of all time is Derek off of Step Brothers the movie. The reason i like Derek off of Step Brothers is he makes the surrounding characters mad and makes them do stupid and funny things. Another reason i like him so much is he does a great job in playing a villain in a comedy movie. His favorite song is Ice Ice baby which is a classic and is a main character in the best comedy of all time.

Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows

The villan in this movie is Lord Voldemort. He is against Harry and the tension is that only one of them can survive so they have to have a duel to the death and only they can kill eachother. They both are wizards and their wands are twins so they can only harm eachother using them. Therefor they must use anothers wand. Lord Voldemort built up his own army. Everyone fears to even say his name. He is possibly the strongest wizard in the story.

Villain Review

In the Disney collection of movies, the classic villain from the movie One Hundred and One Dalmations, Cruella de Vil is one of the most hated childrens' characters. She decides to send her hinchmen to kidnap several litters of dalmation puppies. While in captivity, the dalmations decide to take matters into their own hands to escape. Cruella does everything in her power to retrieve them, but in the end is unsucessful, and is arrested on one hundred and one counts of dognap. She has no remorse for her deeds. Her only concerns are that she never got to have the coat. She does not have many, if any, redeeming qualities to her.

Villains

In the movie 101 Dalmatians, Cruella de Vil, the villain kidnaps the dalmatian puppies. The movie is an ongoing struggle between the mother and father dogs, Perdy and Pongo, and Cruella. She is an evil, up to no good woman. She takes the puppies because she wants to skin them and use their fur. Due to the fact they are puppies their fur is soft and would sell great in the fasion industry. Her name in itself describes her perfectly, Cruel Devil. Although she fails at her attempt to take and skin the puppies she is still one of my favorite villains because she is interesting and I really like the play on words used in her name. I also like her because she is unlike most villains. Most villains aren't interested in stealing puppies for fur, or anything to do with the fashion.

hero vs. villain

In the movie 101 dalmations the evil villain Cruella de vil tries to kidnap the 15 dalmations. she wanted to use the dalmations for fur coats. Cruella loved two thing in life fur and cigarrets. She offered the family two pounds for each dot on every dalmation. The family said no to the offer and Cruella fired anita (the wife) and decided to kidnap the dogs. The two main dogs Pergy and Pongo have to rescue all of the other puppies and get cruella arrested. This villain is interesting to me because she is very cruel and nifty.

101 Dalmatians

In the movie 101 Dalmatians there is a struggle between a hero, Perdy and Pongo, and the villian, Cruella de Vil. Cruella kidnaps all 101 dalmatians because she wants to use them to make a new fur coat because the puppies fur is so soft. Perdy and Pongo, the puppies parents, come rescue all the pups from Cruellas evil hands. I think Cruella de Vil is an interesting villian because she is out of the ordinary. Most villians kill or harm people for revenge, but Cruella tries to do it for fashion. She is my favorite villian because she doesn't get away with it and does it for an out of the ordinary reason.

Bowser

Im sure everyone knows Mario and Luigi from there accesories, games, and comercials. But its Bowser the big and bad brute that interests me. He is a clueless half dinosaure half dragon that always brings a laugh when i see him. He is always to no good terorising little mushroom people with either his fire breathing or his sheer might. He always happens to get himself face to face with Mario and Luigi. He sometimes gets into very ackward situation such as when he accidentally swallowed Mario and Luigi. Bowser seems to amuse me no mattar where he is or what he's doing.

Villain.

In the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the villain is Voldemort. He is a powerful, dark, and evil wizard. Voldemort is after Harry in the movie and he will kill anyone who gets in his way. Many magic folks fear him, they don't even say his name. Voldemort is known as "he who should not be named." This character fascinates me because, at once he use to be good, until he gets more in dept with magic, then that's when he started acting up(evil/dark). Also, in the movie the way he looked was so weird and strange.

The Joker

The Villain I have chose to post about is the Joker. I have decided to waste five minutes to write a paragraph about the Joker, Batman's nemesis and the most feared and most wanted villain in all of Gothom City. When the joker was a young boy his father would beat the living daylights out of him because he couldn't smile big enough so he decided to slit his cheeks really far so would be able to smile and please his father. When his father saw what he had done he kicked him out of the house and that's when the Joker's reign of terror began. The Joker fascinates me because anybody that can terrorize a city killing hundreds to thousands of people and always somehow getting away has to take planning and have some sort of genius.

Batmannnnnn. (:

I chose to do the Joker from Batman. He always has fascinated me because he is different than all other villians. He doesn't wear a big huge suit or costume like most other villians, he just wears lot of make-up to hide his face. He plays a lot of games, not nessicerly games like jigsaw, but games that have you wondoring what he is up to, like what he is planning to do next. He is a killer, he has killed before. But he doesn't straight up kill, he likes to play with his victims before he kills them. His main goal is to kill Batman, but he always fails at that. In the last movie, the joker was killed off. He was a great villian. One of my Favorites. (:

Villains & Heros: Sleeping Beauty

In Sleeping Beauty there are villains and heroes. The villain in Sleeping Beauty is Maleficent; the heroes are Prince Philip and the Aurora’s fairies. In Sleeping Beauty a princess who is to be killed by a spindle on her 16th birthday, is taken away as a baby by the kingdom's fairies so she will be safe from the evil Maleficent. On the day of her birthday she is in the forest picking berries and meets Prince Philip, not knowing she was to marry him one day she tells him that she'll will meet him at her cottage. Maleficent finds out about this, so she hides in the cottage knowing that Aurora will be gone, when Philip arrives she captures him and takes him back to her castle and holds him captive. Aurora is now at her castle, she is left by herself and that is when Maleficent tricks her and makes her touch the spindle. Aurora goes into a deep sleep and is put in a room in the castle on a bed as she waits for her prince to arrive. The fairy help Philip escape and Philip then goes and finds Aurora but before he can meet his love he has to fight Maleficent who has turned herself into a dragon. He kills Maleficent and goes and kisses his true love. Aurora then wakes from her deep sleep and everyone lives happily ever after.

What fascinates you the most about her is that you never know what she is going to do, unless you have seen the movie a million times. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and that is why most movies have a villain.

The Roommate

In the roommate Tracy and Rebecca got in a fight and Rebecca requested a new roommate who's name was Sara. Sara had been dignosed with skysinfinera and had refused to take her medication since she moved away to college. Rebecca had a sister who had been killed by Sara before college. Sara had convinced Tracy to never come around Rebecca again or else she would pay. Finally Rebecca got the nerve to move away after Sara had refused to stop treating her like a little sister. I think the Sara fascinates me because she has split personilaties kind of like me and she has killed so many people and got away with it until Rebecca was smart enough to go digging in Sara's past and find out everything she had done.

Villian & Hero

In the movie Hercules the villain is Hades, the God of the underworld. He puts Hercules through many trials and tests him on his strengths and weaknesses. In the movie he starts off as a young boy no knowing what's wrong with him when he realizes that he has super extra strength like no one else in the town that he lives in. When Hades notices that he wasn't killed by his little midget people things then he goes crazy. He thinks of every way possible to get rid of him so he doesn't overtake and kill Hades. Within the movie he challenges Hercules by just putting him through many things that are supposed to kill him. But in the end Hercules is strong enough and has the power of his father Zeus the god of the heavens. In the end he defeats Hades and can a live a long life in the heavens with father. The character fascinates me because her triumphs over all obstacles that are put in front of him and I really need to learn how to do that. No matter how much he has been through he always comes out successful.

-yy.R yuh so Evil

Go to fullsize image
He was a Russia Detective just like her but she was try to help the world. He was her boss but she didn't know that he came from the same agency. He set her up & kill her husband she found out & she kill him and everybody thought she was the villain but if you were in her shoes what would you do she had to kill him she wanted to make the world better .

Villan Post

"Cinderella" :)
In this movie a young girl looses her father leaving her with her horrible step mom, the villian in the situation. She is cruel and makes Cinderella clean and bow down to her every need. She fascinates me because I cant see how anyone could be that mean or cruel. She ruins the first part of Cinderella's life and almost causes her to loose the love of her life, the prince.

Case 39

In the movie Case 39, the "villain" is the little girl and the "hero" is the social worker. The social worker tries to save the little girl from being neglected by her family. The social worker doesn't understand why the family is neglecting her because she seems sweet. The social worker fights to have her taken out of the home and put into hers and after a few weeks she began to understand why the family was acting the way they were towards the little girl. The little girl she had met was completely different than the one living in her house. She soon becomes afraid and does everything to get her out of her house and the little girl fights back by making her see things that weren't really there. The little girl tries to kill the social worker and in the end it turns out that the social worker killed the little girl.
