The Scarlet Ibis

In The Scarlet Ibis, there is a good example of sibling rivalry. Part of that is how Doodle is pushed to be more like his brother. My little brother is almost 9 years younger, and trys to mimic my actions. It makes you have to watch what you do and say more carefully. Doodle's older brother convenced Doodle that he needed to do the things that he was doing. It was not for Doodle's gain and ended up hurting him. This shows that not all things gained from older siblings are positive.

    Same here I have a four year younger brother whos 11 years old and he looks up at us. We have to watch what we say because 11 year olds are giant snitches. You could go into more detail.God Job

    I know what you mean. I'm the oldest and they always try to copy what you do and it gets pretty annoying. Good luck with your little brother.(:
