If they were to make The Most Dangerous Game into a movie, here is what i would imagine it to be like.
Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Carribean) would be my leading choice to play Sanger Rainsford, Woody Harrelson (Zombieland) would be my pick for General Zaaroff, and I would choose Josh Herdman (Harry Potter) for Ivan. Depp's ability to portray characters with weird situations would fit well for that character. Harrelson would be able to get the crazy, phycopathic mindset of Gerenal Zaroff nicely. Herdman would be a very good wingman for the General. The setting would be in Bermuda.
I would not change the title for the movie, nor would I add any characters. It would take away from the integrity of the story. I would show the charaters on the poster. The music would include very intense and dramatic instrumental pieces.
I love that you stepped out of the box and chose an actor that not many people know of (unless you mention his character in "Harry Potter" that is). Someone else chose Johnny Depp to play the general, which I can easily see, but I can also see him playing the hero. He plays good and evil equally well.
