Are people inherently good??
By definition inherently means existing in someone or something as a perament or inseparable element, ability, or attitude. Good means morally excellent. So the question is, are people morally excellent from birth until death? My answer at an earlier time was yes, but with a better understanding of the question, I do not think my previous acusation was accurate. At the beginning of the novel, Jack seemed like a normal kid. After his first killing, however, he recieved a behemothic adrenaline rush. Soon he became even more power hungry and savage than he was at the openning of the story. It even came to the point that killing each other did not bother him. Roger is another good example of my opinion. At first, he was a quiet child. Then he was kind of like Jack's partner in crime. One of my friend was a very bad kid. But after losing the only thing he cared about, he changed. He got good grades, got along with people, and just got really nice. He changed, instead of staying like he was.
