Inherently Good 3

After reading the novel my oppinion still stands the same about people being neither inherently good nor inherently bad. Depending on your life you can be raised in a bad situation and turn out good, you can also be raised in a good situation and turn out bad. I think that there were on three boys in the novel that were inherently good. The boys that were inherently good were Simon, Ralph, and Piggy. They were always good because they didn't want to see people get hurt Ralph and Piggy wanted Jack and his hunters to stop because they were taking hunting to seriously. Simon wanted the group to stay as one and stop fighting before bad things happened to them, this was after he had a talk with the Lord of the Flies. I think that if Jack and Roger had never landed on the Island that they would have never turned evil. By Jack and Roger landing on the Island and becoming the hunters and Jack not having power because the group chose Ralph as the leader and they became evil. Jack and Roger became blood thisty and power thirsty. They wanted to have total power over everyone on the Island and that they were willing to hunt and kill everybody that did not agree with them. I think that Piggy was always ment to be good. While he was alive on the Island he wanted peace and tried to keep it among the boys. Piggy would always get the boys to listen to Ralph and he want the boys to treat each other right and not fight and hunt each other. He thought that it was wrong for the boys to fight over power, food, and who was better. I dont think I am inherently good or inherently bad. I was good then I had some family problems and I took my anger out by doing things which turned me bad. Now I have changed back to good because I have gotten over things.
