Now that I have finished the novel I still believe that people are neither inherently good or inherently bad . It all comes with influence . And I'm sticking to that opinion .
Some of the boys in the novel were good because they young . They hadn't been influenced by anyone yet . They hadn't lived long enough . Jack and Roger weren't destined to be evil . The saying , "Everything happens for a reason ," comes into play here . They became evil because they landed on the island . They were snobby before , but not completely evil . They were mean and eventually , I think , it would have gotten worse with age .
I believe Piggy was meant to be good . I think his asthma comes into play . He can't really do anything because of his asthma . In the book he's always talking about his aunt so I think that he really cares about his family and he wouldn't do anything to make them mad at him .
I believe I am half and half because of influence . I'm half good because of my best friends and my family . They're the reason why I do good in school and I don't get in trouble all the time . I'm half bad because of my friends that I hang around . I like to hang around some trouble makers that I call my friends because they're not scared to do anything . They don't care what people think either . So I have enough good in me not to be fully bad .
I strongly agree with you. It all depends on the way they get influenced it all because people want to do what other do. great job.
