Are people inherently good?
I think that people are inherently good. If their parents are good people and have good morals then that is the way thier kid will be. The only way kids are inherently good is if their parents teach them to be good. If their parents do not teach them and they do not care then the child will not be good. One person that is inherently good from the novel "Lord of the Flies" is Piggy. I think that piggy is inherently good because of the way he does not like fighting. Jack is not a good person and piggy is the opposite of Jack. Piggy does not like to argue or fight or anything so he is one of the few people on the island that is good. Another person from the novel that is inherently good is Ralph. He was mainly good at the begining of the novel. He changed throught the story but he was mainly good but he did change and became bad towards the end of the novel. In the begining of the story he was trying to help out everybody else but when they all split up he changed. I think that one person from a real life situation is Oprah. She was born in a bad situation and turned into one of the best person in the world. She was turned into a very nice person and has done a lot for people that have nothing. I think that she is one of the very few people in the world that is inherently good.

I agree with you parents have to teach their kids the difference between right and wrong
