I believe people are neither inherently good or inherently bad because it all comes with influence . People tend to act like the people they hang around . They learn to act like that .
Example 1 : When they got on the island . They had never killed or even thought of killing until they learned they had to survive that way . Jack was crazed after he killed for the first time and then his group slowly became crazed along with him .
Example 2 : Sometimes it's not always bad . Like Ralph ; the island influenced him to use the skills he learned growing up . He had to know how to take care of himself without adults . He had to depend on his knowledge to survive without going crazy and killing .
My own example is my sister . She was alright growing up . I believe I was better , but she was good enough . As she went through elementary school she became a brat and began acting like her friends . Her friends influenced her to act the way she did .
Yeah, I was the little girl that was influenced by everyone else. It's hard not to be. I'm the youngest out of 3 and I don't know what I would be now if I didn't have my sisters. Being good isn't just about doing good you have to think good things also.
